About Us...
Collection of GCSE and A Level Art and Design/Photography work. Due to constraints of the exam board all Art/Photography work must remain within school until October (date TBC). Pupils will receive a letter confirming when the work can be released and collected.
Our focus is on raising aspiration and expectation. The emphasis being on setting challenging targets, monitoring progress and providing consistently 'excellent' lessons on a daily basis, in an environment that allows teachers to teach and learners to learn.
Although our emphasis is on academic achievement we are also very proud of the wider achievement of our students. We provide a wide range of sporting, musical, dramatic, artistic and cultural opportunities and we believe strongly that every student has a special talent. Our job is to find it, nurture it and allow it to flourish.
Morriston has gone through some challenging times over recent years, but I have inherited a £22 million learning environment that is truly world class, pupils that are second to none and a talented staff that are fully committed to making Morriston a school we can all be proud of.
